My most humble apologies Frillylover
You are absolutely correct in that Vintage Gowns be treated
completely differently to any other period dress
Rayon, Acetate and pure silk should never be treated like polyester.
I too NEVER soil my 40s/50s Gowns as like you say far too valuable
and irreplaceable. I assumed they were fairly modern gowns of the 70s/80s

You are correct satinsexual, they are mostly 70s/80s vintage, but they are very special to me. No offense, to each their own. I just choose to keep mine pristine.

I am very very disappointed at the moment however, I was going after this dress http://ebay.us/ysFD6b on eBay and missed out. :( I'm very bummed, frilly dresses in my size are so damn hard to find :( I still long for my dream dress, perhaps a massive Quinceañera or Southern Belle dress...something with hoops and lots of ruffles that sway to and fro as I move about *sigh* someday...

I know how you feel about your gowns, wanting them to last, but
the thought that all my beautiful(to me) gowns would be dumped
in a skip or into landfill if anything happened to me,makes me want
to enjoy them as much as possible.I won't live forever(many of my gowns are older than me)
some will still be around when I am gone, hopefully to be enjoyed by other satin lovers
but most will be thrown away,by someone who might think me some dirty old pervert
The 40s/50s gowns I will hopefully sell on to other satin devotees to enjoy but the rest shall
be made love to on a regular basis (and cleaned) for as long as possible

I really hate it when i miss out on an item I was bidding on on Ebay. Especially if it was one of those gowns or satin lined coats that makes me weak in the knees just looking at. I have been buying gowns and coats on Ebay now for 18 years almost since it first got started.

There is not one dress out there that I would not make hot passionate love to.

That first dress in this thread drives me nuts. I would love to spend a night with it fucking it silly. All that cascading material over my cock would make me crazy with desire. I would kiss touch tease myself with it and fuck it over and over. That dress was made for hot sex. My usual bed partners are bridal and prom gowns and this would make a welcome addition to my harem.

Hey, I saw that some pictures that are made by me were posted by others earlier. Well, then I can just as well add some more pictures myself.

Thank you for the compliments. I have bought most of my satin dresses second hand on ebay, mostly from Germany. The hot pink dress I purchased via a Chinese ebay shop and it was newly made to my measurements.

Saw this amazing performance at Universal Studios the other day. Goes without saying the taffeta dresses are to die for!
