I saw this nice Jenny Yoo dress going for only $40 on Poshmark and am tempted. However, I have never heard of this brand. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Is the satin any good?

Looks like a designer from NY. That dress is on sale for $80 us on her website.

Sounds like a good deal. Though I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger. It looks like pretty good satin fabric, but looks can be deceptive sometimes XD

After much hesitation and procrastination, I finally decided to pull the trigger on this one. Unfortunately the sale item on the designer's own site is too small for me. So still took one from Poshmark.
Can't wait to hold it in my hands

Got my dress today
The satin is so soft and smooth. Best of all, the dress is fully lined with smooth (not as smooth as the outer shell though) satin!

Hi, this dress has been discontinued in all the official stores. I got it pre-owned from Poshmark. It's called Jenny Yoo Sabine, and there are still a few size 10's on Poshmark, but no more size 12 for now.
An example of a size 10:

A little over two years ago, I pulled the trigger and bought a Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress, and oh how I loved it! The satin fabric is simply the best I have in my closet. It is among the best in all three qualities I look for in satin: silkiness, shine and softness. All the fabulous fabric is then cut into a slight mermaid shape, which makes it simply irresistible (I'm a sucker for mermaid skirts and dresses
)
Now two years on, I have just taken delivery of my fifth (yay!) Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress, and here is a photo to showcase all of them
Unfortunately, Jenny Yoo has discontinued this "liquid charmeuse" fabric, so these dresses are getting harder and harder to find on the second-hand market...

Fabric looks too thin for my taste. Charmeuse means itβs most likely more like Silk than Satin.
Does it have a good weight to it, or ?

You are right. It's charmeuse, so it's definitely on the thin side. But the dresses have some weight to them, because they are fully lined. The best part is that the lining is also a shiny satin fabric

Is that from eBay? I've seen that picture on eBay before. But that particular dress is way too small for me
