Male Satin

Post by satinsm00thie »

Hi All,

Like most of us I like nothing more than gorgeous feminine satin, but there are a lot of options too when it comes to satin for us males.
If you like satin and shiny fabrics, there is no reason that you cannot wear it.

Satin boxer shorts, pj's, dressing robes, nice shitrts.
And then there is the lovely shiny nylon sportswear you can get.
And swim shorts, coats, rainwear, so many nice feeling things us guys can wear.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else wears stuff like that, not just in private, but in public too.
Or have you seen a guy wearing something nice and thought, hmmmmm ....

Or, for you, is it only feminine satin that cuts it?

Hi. I have seen some satin clothing for men. (pjs , robes) For me it's the idea that it's women's clothes that I wear. They're feminine and frilly. lacy ruffles delicate.

I’ve had some male stuff, but the material is always better in the feminine items. They’re just far superior and I also like that they’re for women, so that’s what I prefer.

I guess I'm one of the rare few here who only wear male satin clothing. I predominantly collect men's satin pyjamas but I am also into satin formalwear, boxers and robes. It's debatable whether the quality of satin is diminished in menswear but I believe it might just be harder to find really nice satin menswear because its a very niche market, and price could be a determining factor.

I far prefer wearing women’s satin as crossdressing is all part of the kink for me, particularly items that look particularly feminine ( pink dresses with bows etc ).
I’ve worn a few items of men’s satin - couple pairs of shorts, a shirt - but I wasn’t turned on as much as I’d be in women’s stuff.
I’d say that women’s satin feels nicer, but maybe that’s just in my head.

Hi, I wear satin shirts around the house and out around town as well. Wife doesn't really get it but whatever. I always wear a jacket over my shirt when going in public but usually the jackets open and I get a handful of looks ( super small most people are fast asleep all the time). I enjoy wearing satin in public, it has its own turn on. Over christmas I was ordering satin clothing from zara and probably for the first time ever the amount of male satin clothing outnumbered the female clothing. Most of it shirts.

Yes I have lots of satin mens gear and wear most of it in public at different times. I wear my mens satin bomber jackets ( bought from H&M, Boohoo.com and ASOS ) on a daily basis on cooler days. I have a lot of long sleeved satin shirts, and have worn all of them at some stage with a suit jacket to the casino or dinner or at a wedding, though nowadays I mostly wear my short sleeve satin shirts ( boohoo.com have some great examples to buy) during the summer . No one in public seems to pay anymore attention to me , than if I was wearing a cotton shirt. In the last few years I have been wearing mens satin trousers ( in Black satin, bought from ASOS) into town occasionally, again no one has stared or paid any attention to me. I believe now in society we are much more liberal and people can pretty much wear what they like , so long as its not ridiculous. Recently I ve been wearing mens satin joggers ( bought from boohoo.com) to my tennis club and again theres no drama. So if you are reading this and a guy and want to wear Mens satin out in public , but are a " bit self conscious" I would say dont worry , you'd be surprised . I ve often had nice comments about a satin bomber jacket I ve worn out or a purple satin shirt I wore to a wedding once. Just make sure you wear it in the right situation if you are conscious and dont " over satin " yourself with multi satin items unless its a costume party. Start quietly with a satin bomber jacket with jeans and tee shirt or black satin shirt if going out at night . if you want to wear satin trousers, choose BLACK to start with and wear a cotton shirt and cotton trench jacket to contrast . Wearing Black satin is a good place to start as its a dark colour and doesnt stand out the same if you are a bit self conscious. I dont agree with the fact some say womens satin is nicer than mens. THEY ARE THE SAME !. I ve bought satin nightwear for my GF and its exactly as soft and silky the mens satin gear. Give it a go !!....you ll love it !....I do . :D

For me, I prefer to buy male satin underwear. Other than that, I only prefer my woman to wear satin clothes so that I can get excited from touching her all over.

There are many different types of satin, which may give the impression womens satin differs from mens. Satin is the weave type. Satin can be made from Rayon, silk, polyester or nylon etc, or cotton which is usually called " sateen" but is still glossy and smooth. Most womens satin would be made from very fine charmeuse satin ( giving the appearance to be 100%silk ) , which is very silky and soft probably the best satin , but still a polyester type satin, then theres acetate satin which is shinier and usually thicker , then silk satin , which is 100% silk and needs to be hand washed. If you bought womens satin pjs they would be made from silk satin or charmeuse satin , which would be softer than ones made from a cheaper poly satin, but if like me you buy mens and womens satin nightwear pjs from the same company and a quality satin I guarantee you they would be the same satin. have you ever seen a label in a fabric store saying " male satin " and " womens satin" ?

Women’s satin pyjamas and nighties are always a shinier and better quality than men’s satin. Men’s tend to be a lot cheaper material

I only wear wear women’s satin, personally. The choice of colors tends to be better and maybe it’s psychological, but the fabric always feels better. Plus, the fact that I’m dressed in women’s clothes adds an extra thrill.

I wear satin boxer shorts daily, and have a couple of satin robes. The only 'female' clothes I would wear would probably be satin shorts and sleep shirts made for women, satin panties or a satin robe. I don't think any of these could be classified as women's only however.
Yeah with you there JS....dont own or wear any female satin as they make good stuff for us guys in satin ...if you know the right places to look like I do. I have a shipload of male satin clothing :D
