Singaporean here. Though I'm staying in the US for work at the moment.

Back in Singapore, I like to shop in the Malay cultural area near Paya Lebar. I had a few bad experience shopping online, so nowadays I prefer to touch the satin fabric before forking out my hard-earned cash

Does anyone have any experience with satin made of rayon-acetate mix? How is the fabric? Silky? Soft? Can it be hand-washed or dry-clean only?

All my satin collection so far has been polyester satin. I'm looking to venture into some new stuffs and saw this nice rayon-acetate mix gown

Depends where you are. Gas isn't cheap round these parts and you really need to bear in mind where you're based out of. Can probably recommend most of the south peninsula towards the San Jose. Just one question. The fabric seems to have some "grainy" texture to it. Does the texture affect the silky touch of the satin? Is it as smooth as others?

I'm eyeing a similar one, but is hesitating because of the texture.
