I hear ya but I do buy quite a bit for my wife from La Vie En Rose but usually online when they have their clearance sales as you can get items for $20 or less. While it is not the greatest quality it works for the price...my wife loves it an wears it to bed nightly...too bad she is very camera shy....

I believe the other reason for calling them vintage would be tax laws. Depending on state/country there will be different tax laws imposed if you are selling a "New" product made yourself or a vintage..aka used product. The gov may not like what she is doing. I agree she is making them her...
