Best Ever Charity Shop Find?

Post by Bridalfun »

Hi fellow enthusiasts and as a lifelong lover of fucking and wanking over ladies coats, furcoats, wedding dresses, gowns and silk and satin slips and nighties thought we might discuss Charity Shops. These are great places to "sniff" out bargains and over the years I have bought and enjoyed numerous slips, nighties, coats and wedding dresses therefrom. Half the fun to me is going to charity shops away from my Town, cash in hand after a few beers and scouring the racks for objects of my desire, all used and still imbued with the musk and perfume of the previous owner. These places are invariably staffed by little old Dears who give you odd looks thinking "tranny" as they bag up these beauties. Sometimes they will invite you to try them on.

At the till my cock will be throbbing and as soon as I get home I will examine my stash, sniff, fondle and then cum all over them, often wearing a nightie or a wedding dress. You can get some great bargains and many UK Charity Shops have a designated bridal department where yo can get some wedding dresses for £50. odd. Great Fun.

So I thought it would be nice if we could post our best ever Charity Shop Find and discuss our purchasing experiences and encounters with our finds. Anyone in Bristol? - Check out and Google Tenovus Charity Shop Bristol - its stacked full of gorgeous fuckable wedding gowns, Southampton - check out Oxfam in Shirley.

Anway this morning in my "local" I bought a Pink mother of the bride outfit. It has a knee length fully lined in acetate dress and a Coat on top, full length Silk Coat, fully lined and came with a silk pink hat. I got this baby for £9.00. I also got a "throwaway" full length white satin nightie for £3.00 that stinks of cheap perfume and fags.
Obviously owned by a Tart before.

So I shall don the nightie, lay out this gorgeous outfit across by silk sheeted double bed, rub by cock gently over it and spray it with Cum!! This will give me hours of pleasure. So cum on guys (ang gals and Lady Jayne) lets hear from you.

Greetings satin lovers; I'll never forget the time ten years ago or so when I went into a Salvation Army thrift store in Fresno CA. They had a vintage area in the store and as soon as I walked in the door I saw the clerk hanging a large piece of satin in the linen section of the vintage department. I walked over to her and eyeballed what she was doinng and to my great delight, was hanging the flat sheet to a four piece set. While she was straightening the sheet on the hanger I went over to her asked if the satin sheets were king size. She didn't know but when I took a pillow case off a hanger, saw they were king. I think she noticed my bulge in my pants and I then took the top sheet to locate a vendor tag, of which there were none. They were home made, never used and just as fresh as the day they were made. Maybe the recipient of the sheets didn't care for satin (their loss, my gain} and decided to give them to charity. I knew as soon as I saw and felt the fabric that it was acetate satin. I took the rest if the set off the hangers, and caressed the satin on my bulging erection, and I guess the gal saw me because she said I should get to the register and make my purchase. Being peach in color they really stood out and I must have had 10 people watch me make my way to the register where there were four others in front of me. I felt those stares and could only think that this would only be a couple more minutes and I can be on my way. I put the sheets on the counter top, knowing my erection was evident, paid the unbelievable price of $20.00 and nonchalontly made my way out to the door. I put the sheets in my trunk of my car because if I had not, I would have exploded on that satin in my front seat. I wanted them for my night of enjoyment. I got home, put them on my bed and had a wonderful, beautiful, satisfying, satin sexual experience. Scintilla is Satin is Scintilla

reminds me of the time I was in the Goodwill store in Fort Worth when I came upon some local girls trying on prom dresses. One of the girls had auburn hair and a smokin body. She tried on a baby blue satin dress from Jordan, pure acetate satin inside and out (it is damn near hard to find a well made satin gown with a satin lining). I could see it against her legs as it had a long slit. It covered her every curve. I could hardly move my cock was so erect. Imagine my surprise when she went back into the changing area and made a comment to one of her friends, "this one is too sexy but feels slippery inside". I came right there. I was sweating.

When they left, I immediately went over to the rack where she had put that baby blue dress, and proceeded straight to the check out line. I think the girl who was wearing it saw me, but I didn't care. I know I had a boner. All I could think about was fucking the hell out of that dress. I could even smell perfume, think it was that Britney Spears stuff, don't know if it was the red hot or the previous owner. I kept thinking of that girls red hair draping down onto the soft satin and her creamy white skin against the baby blue satin lining. She had nice tits too, I imagined them pink and stiff against the silky lining.

I blew 2 traffic lights, went right by FWPD and almost got pulled over but he ended up nailing some BMW. I didn't care, I wonder what the cop would have asked if he saw me with a raging hard-on and a blue prom dress in the front seat. The house could have been on fire, as soon as I came through the door my pants were going to split. I held the dress to my nose and almost passed out, feeling the satin with my hands, I stuffed with with a pillow and proceeded to rub the elegant satin against my cock, teasing my now enraged shaft with the silky splendor. I came like I have never before, thinking about the hot read head and how I wanted to fuck her while she wore this dress, her nude body underneath the soft liquid satin, hearing her moan as her undualting body moves around swishing the fabric against her. Then her cum soaking the helpless silk as she gushes all over it.

I fucked that dress inside and out that day and night until I was tapped out. I still have it though it has been thoroughly stained from the many globules of my semen.

I think that US "Thrift" stores are far better than the useless "Charity" shops we have back here in the UK.

I've had 2 long hols in San Francisco and was amazed at how many great thrift stores I found. In fact I spent a lot of my hols looking for such shops. (As a matter of fact, I felt that it made the holiday more interesting because I ended up in lots of interesting places that the regular tourist would never have found).

The 2nd time I went I took a half empty suitcase just so that I'd have loads of room for all of my thrift store bargains.

Back here in the UK, I'm beginning to find our charity shops, especially the big chain ones, to be getting a bit boring. They never seem to have much out and even that has to be practically perfect. I like to find silk clothes showing signs of having been worn.

If I could pluck up the courage, I'd like to approach some managers to ask if I would be allowed to look through the rejects. I'm sure that they can't get much money for that stuff and might like someone prepared to buy some individual items before they go to the rag man.

Having said that, I did hit on a couple of bargains a couple of moths ago in a little shop in my local town of Consett, Co Durham.

This particular shop never has many clothes at all. I usually go there mainly for the books and music.
However, this particular day I struck a bit of gold. There was a Monsoon silk satin cocktail dress and a Monsoon silk satin cocktail skirt, both size 18, both looking practically new. Unusually , the shop was quite busy and, as they don't have price labels, I was a bit reluctant to draw attention to myself asking how much they were.

I expected the dress to be about a tenner and the skirt a fiver. Now, in the past I've occasionally missed something by hesitating, only to see someone else buy it, so I simply indicated the skirt and asked "How much is this please?"

"One pound," came the reply.

"And this?" (the dress)

"One pound as well".

2 quid? They were on the counter in a flash.

A close inspection when I got them home convinced me that they were probably unworn. They smelt brand new and the linings were showing no signs of ever having been sat in.

Unfortunately, they were both too big for me so I put them on Ebay, getting 40 for the dress and 12 for the skirt.

I hope that they went to good homes.

My wife asked me to drop some old clothes off at the charity bin ( made sure I saved all the silky stuff lol ) when I went to drop them off the charity bins were overflowing I noticed one bag next to the bins had what appeared to be either a silky nightie or dress sticking out the top,in no time at all that bag was in the back of my car I can't wait to have the house all to myself so I can go through the bag and see what that silky garment was and hopefully there will be more silky delights inside the bag.

Excellent find Silky Sam,

Do however be careful when assuming ownership of an "abandoned" bin liner outside a Charity Shop. With all this CCTV about you might attract the attention of the Operator.

That said do let us know the contents of the bag. Hopefully any nighties, slips and panties will be put to good use. If so you might make an ex gratia dontaion to the Charity Shop in question. Great Fun and happy wanking fun.

Love to hear from any other members on their charity shop hauls. Anyone out there fancy going on a Charity Shop shopping spree (or dare I say it "Spray") - please PM Me

I've found a bag of clothes outside the local Goodwill donation box in a shopping center parking lot, it had some satin in it (a prom dress I think) but the fucking cops in this town are like sharks, and they hang out in the same parking lot in their cars jerking off to their own porn on their mobile computers. but with my luck I'd get nailed and I'd hate to be the guys face all over the 6PM news...

I have managed to fine one thing at my local goodwill and it's pretty decent. It's a long flowy prom dress with a detachable train if I really needed to have some portable fun. I feel the need to hit up more shops soon.

On another note, I was having lunch with my father once in a fairly sketchy part of town (that's where all the best ethnic food hides) and walked past a paper bag and it was overflowing be with satin clothes. Sadly since I was with my dad it kind of wasn't the most appropriate time to do that sort of scavenging. But I would have some sort of reservations for picking things up off the ground in a bad part of town.

I have a GoodWill right up the street from me, but I've never purchased women's clothes there before. To be honest, I'm kind of nervous / embarrassed / afraid. I'm sure there's tons of nice satin and leather goodies there, but I just feel like people would be looking at me. That's why I mostly buy my stuff online; to avoid all of that.

You know, that's how I felt it would be but honestly, they couldn't give two cares about what you were buying. I went as far as to say I needed something cheap for a calendar shoot that would get messed up. The cashier thought it sounded cool even though it was pure bs. It's worth a look and remember, you care more than they do.

Exactly! I was embarrassed going into them shops buying women's satin when I started exploring my fetish at 16 especially if the cashier was a bloke! But now I just try and egnore what the people around me are doing

I found the joys of Charity Shops early on, mainly due to my inability to buy anything online because I lived with my parents. Whenever I'm in London (with my parents at home) I go charity shop shopping. When I'm in Uni is when I actually order online, though still go shopping in charity shops if I can, coz there HAVE been some good finds

My best find? There have been a few.

I got a Max Mara dress partly Silk for nothing because I helped out a librarian carry her stuff from my former workplace (the charity shop) to the library: it was an awkward-ass piece of furniture (can't even remember what type LOOOL). Told my former boss it was for a movie.

I got a beautiful black wool coat from Donnybrook which had faux fur cuffs and a faux fur fully lined and trimmed hood, long and gorgeous and the lining was, whilst not that perfect thick type, was a nice slippery polyester. I loved that coat for years until I had to go to Uni year before last (Sept 2014) and I couldn't leave anything obviously at home, espec as my mum wouldn't be happy about me buying coats, like she knows about my fetish, but I'm always broke, whilst my dad knows most of the time (though, loool, not the CURRENT size of my current collection at Uni loool) he's not happy with me basically blowing my money and then being broke all the time. So yeah, that was a great find and probably my favourite.

My fav in terms of just being shocked I could buy it, was the first week AT Uni.

I lived in Courts (so full University Accommodation (single bedroom with ensuite for any Yanks out there who were wondering how different our Uni's are ;) ) and near the Uni (10-15 mins walk from me) was an RSPCA charity shop. I popped in there regularly and I'd found two coats from a place called Planet. They had nice silky looking linings, one was kinda mix-checkered blue and, if I remember correctly, grey and the other was green. I'm not a fan of either colour and the coats looks plain and simple and just kinda ok. Not perfect or eyepoppingly gorgeous but just nice.

So yeah, I kinda wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money. I only had about £500 at the time, wasn't sure about spending, didn't want to run out, wanted to save up and not continue on how I normally was (which, looking back would have been a good decision because now I'm insanely broke, mainly because of the amounts of coats I've bought.)

So, I was bored in bed one morning, couldn't sleep and I decide to google Planet to see if I could find out their prices. Most times I only buy stuff that tops at £60-80 RRP, not out of choice persay, but because everything I liked at the time wasn't exactly expensive.

So, you can imagine my surprise when I saw these coats RRPd at £299+

I swear I never got out of bed so fast in my LIFE.

Literally, right, I got out of bed, slipped some clothes on, I was desperate for them not to have gone, I just chucked on some clothes, and hustled my way to the shop, half feeling so excited I wasn't sure I could get there, half of me wanting to get there and get back so I could fuck them.

I got there, they were still there, I just looked around for a few seconds, to act normal and not freak the lady out, then casually chose the two coats, and bought them for................................wait for it............................................................ELEVEN FUCKING POUNDS. FOR THE FUCKING TWO!!!!!!

I was so pumped.

When I got home I slipped them on and they were BEAUTIFUL. I mean, the coats fit well, the linings were fucking amazing and I found out the green one had Cashmere in it.

Basically, I'd just bought a rich womans two nicest coats and there was me, on the bed, their long enough to wrap round my arse and round my body like a towel or those Sumo-wrestle underpant things only bigger, and with my dick in the sleeve.

FUCK ME!

It was heaven.

I was watching Scandal as well, so I kept imagining the cashmere was Mellie's (The First Lady) and her friends had a camera watching Fitz (POTUS) go into her closet, pull out her beloved cashmere Planet coat and fuck it, thereby ruining her most beautiful and most expensive designer coat. I'd had this thing in my head where her friends are talking about different coats he'd fucked of theirs and there was always convo of how it was beautiful and expensive and her favourite and how it was ruined and then they'd be like "Wait Mellie, isn't that yours?" or "Get Mellie" and then "Isn't that yours" and then she'd realise and watch and just be going "No, oh god Fitz, NO! Oh god no, please oh god, oh fuck, oh amazing my beautiful new jacket, completely fucking ruined. God, the Planet, he had to, my beautiful Cashmere Planet, it was [insert story of how she got it from a rare source, maybe a royal or it was a gift or something, so it's rare and precious]. Oh god, not the Planet Fitz, not the Planet coat"

So I'd make up my own dirty talk in my head for him wanking with this highly expensive coat.

Utterly the best times i had at Uni was imagining that.

So yeah, those are my two top ones. Sorry, I just realise I write really long posts. I'll try to cut them down in future. :)

Found this Karen Millen satin cargo dress in my local charity shop a couple of weeks ago. Cost £3.50 for a £200 quid dress, as you can see we have already used it.......

Great topic.

I haven't gone charity shop shopping in so long mainly because I buy almost everything online now but I'm really in the mood to go soon. Last time was about 2 years ago I got the train from London to Ilford. There are a lot of charity shops there. I spent about £150 altogether and ended up bringing back bags of stuff on the train.

Most of the shops are standard size but there is one large one down the far side of the High St on the right, can't remember the name but it was so much fun going through all the rails. It was quite a spacious store too (I find a lot of the charity shops in UK quite cramped). That day in the store I bought the gold floral dress and the satin blouse top in the pics, both fitted perfectly. Got some other non silk/satin items too. The old lady at the counter was very pleasant and courteous and didn't bat an eyelid.

Really cool store think it was Salvation Army? I recommenced Ilford as all the charity shops are bunched together in a compact area and the town has high st. stores like TK MAXX and cheap independent young fashion stores.
